Quantum media is often called in after projects have begun by producers for consulting or creative, such as special effects and merchandise to further enhance revenues for a project.
All projects start with an idea and from there go to development where projects start to become reality. Next budgets are created, locations are considered and talent is reviewed.
Chop Block News produced by Quantum Media is an irreverent satire animated comedy - featuring cyborg news anchors. A full season was produced and is just now getting into the markets. 7 full shows were produced and so far the reviews from initial viewings have been all thumbs up.. Alpha and Beata are classic..!!
Quantum Media, creates entertainment industry merchandise and provides creative consulting - both were the case for this amazing project - working directly with the producers. This was a major project and we were pleased to join in with our specialties at that time. The Comi-Con Premier was awesome.. This film has become a classic.
Dead by Friday - a great story by the very talented Writer/Director, Ric Lamont. Quantum Media was chosen to edit and co-produce the project when it came our way in post production. A challenging project with great looks and a very capable cast. We expect it will grow into a cult favorite with time.
The "1 !DEA" show was originally "American Inventor" - Hollywood is nothing if not competitive and our show/title were picked up by the competition. 3 full episodes were completed. We still like our version much more. It's funny.
Yes, our show was made first.. Lesson learned.
The world of television production is a very competitive marketplace and sometimes we will pilot a show that goes to another bidder. That was the case with this one. QM still owns the original version of this show and maybe one day it will resurface with a new twist. FYI - Ours was a comedy..!!
The network came to us with a pre-production concept and worked out a number of various scenarios. One of the producers had to change locations for this show - which did not meet with our schedule, so off it went after about six months of wrangling. We have plenty of others..
QM was brought into this project for editing and scoring. Indie film pioneer Donna Spangler, and her crews have created some very fun independent movies - Tim Colceri from "Weeds" and "Full Metal Jacket" - directed - just before HD cameras tech.
QM was asked to provide consulting services for this indie film. Micheal Mann, Louis Gosset Jr., and James Russo brought interesting performances to this story - that was just ahead of the Texas Hold'em craze.
This project has a lot tentacles into Film/Tv - tech and gaming. QM owns the Trademarked name and show concept. It's on the slate for some very promising directions.
As a development guideline, QM looks for projects that have a clear path to sponsorship and product placement applications. This is another teaser that is quickly headed to production.
For those that don't know, documentaries are a very big market and even participate in the OSCARS every year. QM has worked with a lot of them, but most are internal corporate style. This project came to us for marketing design consulting and manufacturing for DVD distribution. A very good cause.
QM got the call to produce a "show within a show" Baywatch Episode for Season 10, Episode 16. Cody's birthday where he gets a custom "Riot" car from Thunder Ranch. A perfect application for a Product Placement spot - The car was the "Star" of this episode. The crew was awesome - Hasselhoff was just about the biggest star on the planet at the time.
2024: Quantum Media is celebrating a new World-Wide publishing contract. Flock Island will soon have a 2nd book and an Animated show is in discussion. The title is in major bookstores and large retailers including Target and Walmart. Kids love this story about Kerry the blue Cockatoo.
"Off The Hook" started like most Indie film concepts, in a bar with a lively exchange of ideas. Billy Peterson and Kenny Lee Lewis - both iconic, touring rock musicians with the Steve Miller Band, met with QM Director Ric Johnson to put together some concept shots.
